What is a Fab Lab?
A Fab Lab is a digital fabrication workshop to help anyone make practically anything. Equipped with digital machines, a concept designed on 2D or 3D software can be manufactured quickly and cost effectively.
What can be made in a Fab Lab?
Fab Lab Airedale will be equipped to allow you to make anything from a small electronic circuit board to furniture. Fab Lab Barcelona made a carbon neutral house. Fab Lab Airedale will become part of a worldwide network of Fab Labs, sharing ideas and designs.

Who can use Fab Lab Airedale?
A Fab Lab can be used by everyone! The following products and services are available:
Expert help will be on hand with developing invention or a new product. Knowledge of design sofware is not needed, as technical assistance is available in the Fab Lab. However you can download open source design software such as Google Sketch Up or Inkscape to design things on your home computer to bring to the Fab Lab.
